Spring Cone Crusher Overview
Spring cone crusher is suitable to crush various kinds of ores and rocks of medium or above medium hardness. Compare with jaw crusher, spring cone crusher is of stable structure, high efficiency, easy adjustment, economic operation, etc. The spring safety system of crusher acts as an overloading protection system that allows metal to pass through the crushing chamber so as not to damage the cone crusher.
The safety system uses dry oil and water as two kinds of sealed formation to make plaster powder and engine oil separate to make sure reliable performance. The type of crushing chamber depends upon size of feeding and fineness of crushed product. The standard type (PYB) is applied to medium crushing, the medium type is applied to medium or fine crushing and the short head type is applied to fine crushing.
Spring Cone Crusher Working Principle
Cone crusher crushes materials by the working surface between fixed cone 2(also called outer cone) and the movable cone 1 (also called inner cone), as shown in the drawing. The fixed cone is static and is a part of the frame. The material is compressed, hit and bent while the movable cone is close to the fixed cone. So the crushing chamber is formed. And the crushed material is discharged by gravity while the movable cone is far from the fixed cone. So the outlet is formed. The material is feeded form the inlet 4.
Spring Cone Crusher Characteristics
1. The movable cone works continuously. The crushing and discharging of the material are carried out alternately and continuously. So the capacity is improved greatly.
2. The material between the two cones is compressed, bent and cut which make crushing easier and less consumption.
3. The final product is uniform and cubic. And the surface of the movable cone features uniform wear ability.
4. Brief introduction of structure: the cone crusher is mainly consist of frame, horizontal shaft, movable cone, balance wheel, eccentric bushing, upper crushing surface ( fixed cone), lower crushing surface ( movable cone ), fluid coupling, lubrication system, hydraulic system, control system and so on.
5. The movable cone and fixed cone are installed erectly. While the movable cone swings, there is a parallel area between movable cone and fixed cone near the crushing chamber outlet. The dimension of the inlet is not big. So it can process the material after the primary crushing.
